Envy besets men and women alike. The woman sees the man with his money and and assumes it affords him ease. The woman wants the ease like the man.
The man sees the woman with her attractiveness and assumes it affords her relevance. The man wants the relevance like the woman.
The man and the woman both seek validation through renown.
"My yoke is easy and my burden is light."
Love Jesus Christ and He will love you in return beyond your reckoning. Your love for Him is all that He asks of you. His love will strengthen your soul like the muscles of your body. Once heavy burdens will be of no more consequence than the breath that escapes your mouths.
The desire to share this truth of Jesus Christ's love will become unbearable to the point that you are forced to action, forced to share His love. In this action you will find your relevance.
At last you will have your validation, not in renown, but in the love of Jesus Christ.
